Cookies
How ADRA-SA uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit this website.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar tools, such as local storage, can also remember preferences in your browser.
2. How we use cookies on this site
This website uses one essential item of browser storage, plus optional analytics cookies that are only set if you accept them. We do not use advertising cookies.
When you first visit, a notice asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you click Accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you click Decline, they stay off.
3. Essential storage
Cookie preference (adra-sa-analytics-consent) — remembers whether you
accepted or declined analytics cookies, so the notice does not appear on every visit. Stored in your
browser’s local storage. It contains no personal information.
4. Analytics cookies (optional)
If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example which pages are visited, how long people stay, the type of device and browser, approximate location and which site referred them. This helps us improve the website. We do not use it to identify you personally.
_ga— distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years._ga_<ID>— keeps track of your current visit. Expires after 2 years.
Google Analytics is provided by Google, which may process this information outside South Africa. See our Privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
5. Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Clicking the button below removes any analytics cookies and shows the cookie notice again so you can choose.
You can also clear stored site data or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how some websites work.
